So a few weeks back, I made a few posts about some ShinHan markers my boyfriend bought for me. I got the four sets they had at the store, and all the ones they had loose. They color really smooth, and blend beautifully. The last few pictures I uploaded here were colored with them!
I liked them a lot, so I went to their site, and saw something about them being refillable, and having replaceable nibs. The markers shown looked a little updated from the ones that I had, so I sent an e-mail asking if these old style of markers would work with the new nibs.
They were very nice and informative through the entire conversation. They said that the series that I had was too old to be compatible, so they sent me three of the new ones for free to try. ;___; The only condition was I e-mail them back to let them know how I like them.
I’m going to my local art store tomorrow to see if they’ll be ordering any of the new ones, because I really like them. ♥

I recently bought a pack of mini colored pencils (like I don’t have, oh, I don’t know… five or so sets of colored pencils already) from Japanese lifestyle brand Muji. They’re about 3.5 inches from end to end— half the size of normal colored pencils— in a Kraft tube/canister. Perfect for on-the-go drawing and 13-hour flights, wink wink. The pencils are surprisingly decently pigmented and not too waxy (as most cheap colored pencils are). I approve.
